Most Romantic DIY Valentine Gift Basket Ideas
Instead of going out and spending a lot of money on flowers or jewelry or... what do you get your husband for Valentine's Day? Chocolate? Boxer briefs with hearts on them?
Things that are made by hand and have a meaning behind them. So today I decided to share some romantic DIY valentine gift basket ideas that I have been making over the years.
The things we still talk about every year and the things we still have in the fridge or in a safe. They are really fun and easy. Oh yes, and affordable!
Personally, each of the following ideas occurred to me at some point.
Truth or Dare Jenga
All you need is a knife and a game to play Jenga! Very cheap! Write questions or bold in random blocks (or several per block). In fact, you can do it however you want.
Be creative! As you play, no matter which block you take out, you must answer questions or dare. Very nice! And you can completely customize this based on where you are in your relationship.
52 Reasons Why Deck of Cards
You will need a deck of cards, a knife (or a computer/printer if you want to write on it), tape, and a hole punch.
All you have to do is write the reason you like her on a card and tie it with a ribbon to make a cute little book!
Personalized Beer Bottle Labels
You can create everything from scratch using a program like Word or Photoshop, or you can buy it cheaply from a site like Etsy. It depends on you! I am very happy to do it. It gets even more ridiculous.
Love Book
I made one for Kevin before his first deployment, but they also make a great Valentine's Day gift!
Basically, you write each story (how you met, what you see about your future, etc.), create illustrations, and then the book is created and shipped to you.
It costs a bit of money, but it is very fun and thoughtful. Kevin now takes his price on every mission!

Scavenger Hunt
It may take a little more time and planning, but it's a lot of fun! You can create instructions from scratch or print guide cards from various online sites.
This is a super cute way to take your guy to his gift or tell him about a planned date night out.
Memories Collage/Scrapbook
It could be a do it yourself gift lol. This allows you to be super creative and make it as personal as possible. You can do this on a canvas, in a scrapbook, or pretty much as much as you like.
Add things like photos from the beginning of your relationship, tickets to your favorite movie or show (it wasn't just me that saved it, right?), words that describe your relationship, inside jokes, and more.
This is another great gift idea if your husband travels a lot or is in the military and works a lot. It's something they can put in their pocket and take with them wherever they go.
Love Coupons
I know it's a bit of cheese. But if you're a guy like me and always want to scratch your back, that's a great way to limit it haha. No more parties, no more back scratches, baby.
Handmade Cards
It's one of my favorite things about Valentine's Day and Kevin loves it too.
I LOVE to make her some “cute” cards and give them to her throughout the day or even as proof of a trash scavenger hunt! You can even slip one or two into his briefcase/lunch bag to keep him smiling all day!
Bake His Favorite
We all know that the way to the human heart is through the stomach. Kevin loves cakes, especially my sugar cookies. Make her a cupcake or cake and let her help you decorate!
I hope you enjoyed this gift ideas post! I know this is a little different from the usual gift guides, but since we don't spend a lot of money on Valentine's Day gifts, I'm not going to push you to do so.
Let me know if you like posts like these and what your favorite DIY gift ideas are! Happy weekend friends!
